Terms of Service
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the ClassMint platform, operated by ClassMint Inc., a company incorporated in Delaware, USA. By creating an account or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
ClassMint provides AI-powered lesson planning, adaptive quiz generation, differentiated material creation, and student progress reporting tools for K-12 educators. The platform is designed for use by teachers, curriculum coordinators, school administrators, and district personnel.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify ClassMint immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
ClassMint grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the platform in accordance with these Terms and your subscription plan. All content generated by the AI is provided for educational use and should be reviewed by qualified educators before classroom deployment.
ClassMint Inc. reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes via email or in-app notification at least 30 days before the changes take effect.
Privacy Policy
ClassMint Inc. is committed to protecting the privacy of educators and students who use ClassMint. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and safeguard your information.
We collect information you provide directly: account details (name, email, school affiliation), curriculum standards you upload, and lesson content you create. We also collect usage data such as feature interactions, session duration, and device information to improve the platform.
Student data entered into ClassMint — including names, performance scores, and learning levels — is treated with the highest level of protection. We are fully FERPA compliant. Student data is encrypted at rest (AES-256) and in transit (TLS 1.3). We never sell, share, or use student data for advertising purposes.
We use your information to: provide and improve the ClassMint service, generate personalized lesson materials, produce progress reports, and communicate with you about your account and product updates.
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting privacy@classmint.app. For district accounts, data deletion requests should be submitted by the designated district administrator.

Data Processing Agreement
This Data Processing Agreement ("DPA") forms part of the agreement between ClassMint Inc. ("Processor") and the educational institution or individual educator ("Controller") for the use of ClassMint.
ClassMint Inc. processes personal data solely on behalf of and in accordance with the instructions of the Controller. We process student data exclusively for the purpose of providing the ClassMint educational services.
All data is stored on servers located in the United States, hosted by SOC 2 Type II certified cloud infrastructure providers. We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to ensure a level of security appropriate to the risk, including encryption, access controls, regular security audits, and incident response procedures.
In the event of a data breach affecting personal data, ClassMint Inc. will notify the affected Controller within 72 hours of becoming aware of the breach, providing details of the nature of the breach, the categories of data affected, and the measures taken to address it.
Upon termination of the service agreement, ClassMint Inc. will delete or return all personal data to the Controller within 90 days, unless retention is required by applicable law.
Acceptable Use Policy
ClassMint is designed for legitimate educational purposes. You agree not to use the platform to generate content that is harmful, discriminatory, misleading, or inappropriate for educational settings.
You may not attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the underlying AI models or algorithms used by ClassMint. You may not use automated tools to scrape or bulk-download content from the platform.
Content generated by ClassMint is intended as a starting point for educators. Teachers retain full editorial control and responsibility for reviewing, modifying, and approving all materials before use in the classroom.
ClassMint Inc. reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate this Acceptable Use Policy, with notice provided where practicable.
Cookie Policy
ClassMint uses cookies and similar technologies to provide, protect, and improve the platform. Essential cookies are required for the platform to function and cannot be disabled.
We use analytics cookies to understand how educators use ClassMint, which helps us improve features and user experience. These cookies do not track personal student data.
You can manage your cookie preferences through your browser settings. Disabling non-essential cookies will not affect the core functionality of ClassMint.
